From Spain.
Built in California.
Fishing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. What started on the water in Spain became a new life—and a bigger purpose—in California.

The water always pulled me back.
I grew up in Madrid, but every chance I had, I wanted to be near the water. Fishing taught me patience, curiosity and the value of putting in the work. Those early days shaped the way I still approach everything today.

California showed me what was possible.
After moving to the United States, seeing myself on the cover of a California outdoor fishing publication felt like a signal. It showed me there was room here to build something meaningful—and that I was ready to go after it.
Built face to face.
I didn’t want to build The Fishing Players from behind a screen. I started showing up—meeting anglers, listening to their experiences and putting the products directly into their hands. Every event helped turn an idea into a real community.

A Spanish lure. A California phenomenon.
I brought Fishus, a Spanish lure brand, to the USA because I believed American anglers would recognize something that truly worked. In less than a year, the Espetit became one of California’s most talked-about topwater lures, especially among freshwater anglers at Pyramid and Castaic.
Family first.
I’m building The Fishing Players alongside my wife, with our daughter at the center of everything. We’re a small family business, but we think long term. I’m grateful for the opportunity to be here, to work hard, and to build a prosperous future for my family doing something I genuinely believe in.
From Spain to California.
Built one cast at a time.
Keep showing up · Keep believing · Keep fishing
